A SweetS Distraction

Currently Playing: SweetS - LolitA ☆ Strawberry in summer

Every night since my mother let slip of a big event in the family coming up in a few months, I decided to start tidying up my room. So far I've cleaned 2 trash bins worth of old paper, hand outs and useless test papers. Whenever I saw something I deemed sentimental (which was the reason I kept it), I threw it out, saying "This is no time for sentimentalities!". I still have 4 drawers worth of trash to sort out. ~_~

It's the 27th of October today, and guess what: It's my dad's birthday! I'm taking a break off leveling in Lineage II to spend some quality time with the family. LOOOOOL. What am I doing in front of the PC then?! Nothing really. x_x I was organizing my mp3s for burning. I did finish organizing Ayumi Hamasaki, YUI, DEPAPEPE and Origa. While looking for my RYTHEM mp3s though, I stumbled on this Multiply music playlist with only 1 song from SweetS. I decided to download it just to listen, because I had this funny feeling that I heard (or read) the title from somewhere before.

(If you don't know what I'm talking about, click the link on the music playing above.)

After the song intro, I kept stuttering, struggling to remember where the hell I heard this song. "I remember this! I know it! I could even sing to the effin' lyrics! What, was that the monkey? Oh shit I don't remember which anime this came from!" @_@ You could imagine me going gaga in front of the monitor, trying to remember Monkey T---, whatever the title was.

Thank you Wikipedia, for telling me it was Typhoon, and not Trouble. Pffft. — —;;

So here I am, typing down this post while the song plays over and over on my Winamp. I even bothered to find 2 videos of the group on YouTube! Check my Multiply videos for the PV by clicking here.

This here is a live performance on 15-O. Think Music Station.

What a talented bunch of kids. This is how they look now that they're grown up. :3

~EXPRESS BULLETIN~

To my dear SOS Bulletin readers:
I regret to inform you that we don't have a Lineage II Guide Update for this week. I went to my university to get my grades (and hopefully, for enrollment) thus I lacked the time to prepare for one. Watch out next week for an extra packed update that I know you've been waiting weeks for.

Thank you for your continued patronage! *bow*

Dear Diary...

I passed my subjects! Yay! And I haven't updated for ages! Not so yay! -_-

Oh oh oh, I think my grades give me bragging rights.

Phil. Gov't. & New Constitution (SOCSCI2 aka PolSci) - 1.25
Values Education (VALUES, GOD we have VALUES @_@) - 1.75
Sining ng Komunikasyon (FIL1, my dreaded subject) - 1.75
Nat'l. Service Training Prog.2 (NSTP2, kasi bagsak sa UP, amp!) - 1.75
Trigonometry (MATH2, my most enjoyable class, weird!) - 1.5

PROOF:

Malabo ba? Palapitin natin...

Yun yun oh! >:)

I got 6 subjects last sem... Only got 5 grades. I need that grade for Professional Ethics! @_@ Anyway I'm hoping it's at least 1.75, it will prove to be my best sem in College yet. xD

Oh, and I need to start acting more seriously... I've just been given a Council seat for IA-L2SEA. (Istar el' Adere - Lineage 2 SEA Realm)

The reason I haven't got time to update much is because I got my hands full with L2SEA and clan matters. We're about to have a transfer of leadership, from Sera (JC Cuneta) to a new leader voted by the members. I don't know how it will turn out, but I hope everything goes well.

That's it. I gotta go back in-game. I need 7 something something % to reach level 39! Elven Elder here I come! >:) (finally!)

Desktop. Muahaha~

Oi! I've been tagged! xD

My desktop's new look. :P

Biruin mo 'yun
, I just changed my wallpaper a few hours before I decided to check my blog. LOL.

Anyway, this is a wallpaper of... jaaaaang~ Deathnote! But take note (omg redundancy?), these aren't the Japanese actors. They're cosplayers, and yes, they are Pinoys. Okay so maybe some of them are half-half but that doesn't change the fact that they live in the Phils. :P

Observant chaps would notice that Alodia's there. It's easy to tell by her eyes. ^^ I became a fan ever since I saw her in a D.O.D outfit (specifically, the Princess outfit, months ago lor), and avid viewers of the 24-hour animé channel in the country, Animax would definitely know this. xD

Oh and did I mention that this was shot in San Agustin Church? Well duh I didn't. x_x Even before I read the pic description @ Alodia's DA, I knew right away because I've been there, and I'd have to be one big stud not to remember a church bearing the same name as my freakin' SURNAME! I miss that place. *daydreams* I suddenly remembered when I asked Jap to hold my lower torso for me as I bent over a small porch to take a picture of the garden (it's sooo beautiful! :3) Ah, the days when I cheated death~

... rofl

Enough about the wallpaper, now on to the icons. 'Di rin naman halatang gamer ako. ROFL~ Most of these are icons of games I usually play (or used to play), or are played by the gamers coming to my place for a few games. Most of the picture files were from Evespring and I never found the time (rather, I forgot) to dump them in a folder somewhere...

Oh, and there's my e-Book copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows! I haven't got past Chapter 1 ever since I got it months ago @_@ I'll work on that over the sembreak. >:)

Now, Im'ma tag these people! xD

Jesse, Miko, Bryan, Arlie, Croze

Show me your desktops! =P~

[2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V).

[3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.

B. Post the picture in your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop just below it if you want. You can explain why you preferred such look or why is it full of Icons, things like that.

C. Tag five of your friends and ask them to give you a Free View of their desktop as well.D. Add your name to this list of Free Viewers with a link pointing directly to your Desktop Free View post to promote it to succeeding participants.

Understating Bad Mood & Bad Weather

Finals next week. And before I study for my Ethics Finals scheduled tomorrow (as if I have the concentration for it), let me just rant this out.

Putang inang dula yan bakit ba nauso pa? They gave me the role for mother in my group play for FIL1! Group mates are crap and the script's even worse! The presentation's on Saturday (October 6) and we haven't practiced, not even once! Kanya kanyang dala pa ng props. Fucking hell!

So where was the fucking leader? He was fucking absent, and as Assistant group leader I voiced my rants disguised as an eloquently delivered, commanding speech (with matching aggravated face). Just thinking about all this fucking trouble made my fucking head ache like hell. -_-

Last week I fell ill and succumbed to flu, which I had to live through for a whole week, speaking inaudibly in class. My Filipino professor talked to me and my delinquent group leader (Zoren), and I begged them to reconsider so I could change roles with someone else. The deal was, if I could recover before the play date, the show goes on; if not, we'll have to fix the roles. A week later (today) I haven't completely recovered yet, and my teacher told me "Kayanin mo na lang." WTF!? That wasn't the deal! And he's a teacher for crying out loud! -_-

And I had to go out into the rain with my broken umbrella to have the script photocopied myself (the male group mate said "Bahala na kayo pa-xerox yan, meron na kami" and I looked at him incredulously and said, "Bakit ako!?", thinking, hasn't this guy noticed that I WAS FUCKING SICK!?), and gave 1 of the 2 copies to my emo girl group mate, Dianne. (At least she looks more my group, fuck the rest)

Remembering my first day in UPLB as a bona fide student, it was June 2003... Orientation Day. And we were staying in the S.U. Building... As practiced, we freshmen were grouped and we all had to present a skit, just to show everyone in the room what we've got.

I got the role of the mother, and our group presented our own rendition of the Selecta commercial. It was a coincidence too, since I was wearing a pink shirt, and the mother's shirt in the commercial was also pink. -.-

That role landed me the "Face of the Day" award, and we were offered a chance to become DJs for UPLB's local radio station.

It was a tempting offer. I humbly declined, but promised to assist if ever my skills were required.

What's the difference between me as the Iska and me as the ordinary girl in PnC?

In LB:
I was a freshman, full of vigor.
As a neophyte, I had a hunger to be known.
I looked forward to knowing new people.
I was in top form.

In PnC:
I am a student back from a 2-year hiatus.
I am a transferee, and I don't care about anything other than my grades and myself.
I am used to being alone.
I am sick and I barely have my voice back.

Back to my rant...

Stupid people get stupid remarks. So before I set to leave the classroom and head back home, I came over to talk to Jean on the other side of the room. I asked her to deliver a message from me to Zoren, in the most behaved manner I could manage, to demand a practice day before Saturday because I won't let this pass if he doesn't. I think she got my point, just by looking at my gestures.

I looked back and called her again, and said this, "Sa susunod, tanungin mo muna yung taong pinili mo kung tatanggapin nya yung role, ok?"

She curtly nodded.

Then I walked... stone-faced and murderous.

I swear if one person tried to joke with me, I wouldn't hesitate to pole-attack him with my umbrella.
