What's my latest addiction? Battle Audition Online, that's what. o.o I just got in the Pussyfierz club, and my club alias is pussyfierMEI. ^-^ So if you're playing AudPH, please go easy on me, I'm a n00b. ^^; Once I finish amassing enough den for my _____, I'll start spending A-Cash for some EP costumes to complete my get-up. Fashion Mall, here I come! ;)

Why am I picking dancing over running nowadays? Because I can't stay rooted to my seat for more than 30 minutes. You can imagine how profusely frustrating that is. (I meant to use those words to make my tongue twist :P) It's sad when you can't play a game you want because of interruptions like kids playing and the doorbell ringing and customers buying, add your mother's constant nagging, it's chaos in my head I tell ya! So I'm better off with 5-minute games like O2Jam and AudPH at the moment. =_=


On a side note, I noticed that I'm not as enthusiastic as before when it comes to playing Monstersgame. Yay! That's a good sign. It means I have finally outgrown the imagination-restricting game. x_x Time for me to drag my ass back into REAL online gaming.

How do I define REAL online gaming? Simple.

(1) Real immersive worlds,
(2) Real sounds (BGM, sfx),
(3) Real interaction,
(4) a Real community.

I don't know if I've mentioned it before, but there's been an e-Games invasion here in my area since we got the DSL up and running. Kids love anything free. *roll eyes* But the truth is, if e-points were only much easier to come by, these Free-to-Play games would be more expensive. Why? Because you really have to spend some cash if you want to advance in the game.

Take for example, in their flagship game, an upgraded weapon *cough, +7, cough* would cost you at least 10(?) e-points. So that would convert to 10 Philippine Pesos. In their band-playing simulation game, a simple hairstyle would cost you 5 e-points, and the better looking items cost more than that (my favorite keyboard costs 1 million gold so I'd have to spend e-points for a temporary keyboard T.T). The dance simulation game is by far the most expensive. The cheapest item you can buy costs 5 e-points, but it can only last in your inventory for 7 DAYS. To buy an indefinite version of the same EP item, you'll have to pay 6 times the normal value. So 5 x 6 = 30. That's for a measly tank top! W-T-F. =_=

Now I'm contemplating on whether I should spend my e-points to buy me at least one indefinite item because I REALLY wanna dress up my avatar na. T_T *sigh* I'll decide when the time comes. Really really want those flip flops... Ohhh and that hairstyle! *pulls at hair in frustration*

Maybe I should just get my big, fat ass back in-game and play for more Den. lol.

Gone gaga over 'College Saga' and 'Goong S' Ep.2!

I was supposed to make this post last night but wasn't able to due to time constraints. And yours truly was busy playing RAN earlier today and got too sleepy to even start a draft. Sorry... *_*

As I stated above my other update was courtesy of my lil' bro Pat. He messaged me on Y!M giving me a Youtube link, and said "watch first, ask questions later". So I loaded all 4 of the links he gave. The first thing I noticed was the number of awards the videos received. Then I read the description:

Obsessed with Pink

I feel like I'm undergoing a huge personality overhaul by declaring that my favorite color is now PINK! Holy effin' crap. @_@ And in saying that, I completely adore Sakura. WAAAaaAhhH. I'd do a Sakura seiyuu imitation if only this freakin' cough would go away!!! T_T

Anyway I found a complete version of the Yume no Tsubasa duet posted by waterpixie on Youtube! Now I'm DESPERATE to cure this cursed cough! x_x



I also want to post this AMV of Love Chronicle, a song from Full Moon O Sagashite. (yes, waterpixie did this one too ^^o) I just got the mp3 files via Y!M. Thanks soooo much for the songs Eva-chan! *waves*



While I was on the hunt for Tsubasa Chronicle wallpapers, I found a blog site by Kimi-chan that features avatars created by her. She uses them as post headers. I grabbed some of them because they were so cute I couldn't resist! T.T

Cute ne? Just don't grab them without permission, she might throw a fit. Plus, I found a really really really cute one of Winry and Edward. PUAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

This definitely justifies my beloved piglet. Dearie you're a piggy~! o.o

Goong S ≠ Goong 2 but still watching ^^

I just finished watching Goong on Youtube and ohmygod I cried. Waaaah. T_T Felt so touchy touchy on this and that~ and unni looks really pretty in... ^^; okay no more hints. I'd hate to accidentally spill spoilers. o.o

A few minutes after I watched the Goong 2 News on Arirang (it's a video clip of course), I saw a link to Goong S videos! Weee! I read that Se7en would be the star and he is! If you're interested to watch Goong S, click the links below to be taken directly to their pages on Youtube.

* It was stated on Se7en's Wikipedia page that it will premiere on Korean TV on January 20, 2007. Hey! It's only the 17th! And they uploaded the episode on the 13th! O_O *

A small reminder: Goong S is a completely different story and does not feature the cast from the first series. (they will reportedly work on Goong 2, the REAL sequel of Goong) The letter "S" in the title can simply mean a new "start", a "side story", or a "spin-off" of the original series. How did that happen? I read on Wikipedia that there was a conflict between the original producers, so there turned out to be two sequels. Messy huh? ^^

Synopsis:
The Queen (played by Myung Se Bin) is in her early 30s but still unmarried. Because of this, in a condition where there cannot be a reduction in the number of successors to the throne, the present prince (the 1st successor) suddenly leaves the world and leaves a vacancy in the line of successors. So they go out to find the secret prince and finally find Lee hoo (played by Se7en), who has been living outside the palace.

Lee hoo is the son of a prince and his mother who died early, had departed with his father and left the palace, hiding the fact that she was already pregnant. He does not know that he possesses royal blood and has lived, working as a delivery boy at a chinese restaurant.
Although usually, he has prince disease, he had never dream of entering the palace and receiving royal lessons.

Lee hoo, the unbelievable no 1 successor to the throne and the perfect Lee Joon (played by Kang Doo) will bring tension to the drama as they fight over the position.

After Lee Hoo enters the palace, an important place will be the royal academy. It is a place for members of the royal family as well as descendants of wealthy families.

My take on the Series:

I may have forgotten where I first saw Se7en, but I do know he is a famous singer (and a real good dancer ^^). This is his first lead role in a TV series so it goes to say his acting skills aren't polished as of yet. *SPOILER ALERT!* When he found out he was a prince after his life was threatened by some unknown thugs, he really didn't react too shocked! Even considering that his character should be a bit exaggerated, albeit overacting at times. x_x *SPOILER END* His acting isn't too convincing yet, but you've got to love his antics and exhibitions. Many people may see him as a male version of Shin Chaegyung and I guess that's how it's supposed to be, except the way the main plot's going is a bit more Princess Diaries-like.

Shin Chaegyung's unni comes back here as Lee Hoo's attendant ^^ but she's wearing different robes now, waaah~ and Internal Officer is here too! Anyway the Queen Mother does look a bit young :( but the Queen here is as stiff as the Queen in Goong 1 lol... I'll wait for the next episodes to see how the characters will develop. It's still too soon to be giving out an official grade for Goong S.

The series itself looks good as long as it's not compared to Goong Season 1, really. As a spin-off, I believe the story has all the right to pursue a whole different path ^^ so yeah, watch it (the links are already given above) and see for yourself. Give it a try and just enjoy. :D

*SPOILER* Who's his love interest? I'd say it's either his childhood friend-turned-palace servant and that girl swishing double katanas. Weeee~ *END SPOILER*

The Craziest Week of the Year

Youtube's been having scheduled maintenances for the past 2 days! (yes, I'm counting today! T_T) It's a good thing I finished downloading the last 4 parts of Goong Episode 17. Now the problem lies on where the effin hell to search for Episode 18 and 19. Oddly enough, no one's uploaded it there. Or wasn't I looking well enough? (4.30PM)

I've completely gone gaga over this series and the irresistable shōjo charm of Yoon Eun Hye. She did pretty good for her first major role, and I think it's partly because she shares many personalities with Chae-gyung (spelling varies everywhere).

A few more pics I got off the Net. I don't own these, so credits should go to the original posters. But there's just too many of them, I don't know who posted first. x_x

Anyway I lost track of time and realized only now that I'm 2 days late on posting. *sigh* Refer to the post title. I'm guessing this post will take a few hours in composition mode, I'm busy listening to Goong OST. XD

Me and the girlfriends have been discussing EiC details on SMS. One told me she feels being ganged on, like it's a 2 vs 1 fight. It happened while they were in a heated debate on a brainstorming session. They weren't listening to her explain her idea and just arguing and refuting all the way. I told her, "That girl shouldn't be arguing with us anymore because she said herself that she's nothing but a reader now. She shouldn't have any right to demand changes in the storyline we poured blood, sweat and tears on." Old grudges die hard. Sue me.

Later that afternoon, our geeky friend (also in the EiC project) sent me a message regarding her suggestions (totally OT from what I was flaring about earlier), and we talked about how a living human can communicate with the dead. I watched a program on Discovery about it, featuring the infamous Vizconde Massacre. *shiver* and I remember the Spirit Questors were also featured. Interesting stuff, but not interesting enough for me to want to try it myself.. I get creeped out just by having a guy with me who can actually SEE them. Guiding your guy under a tikbalang's legs in the middle of the night isn't just creepy, it's WEIRD. =_=

(6.30PM today) Youtube's fine again. and I finally found the missing episodes! They only had "goong" for valid search tags. FTW! So take that as a hint if you wanna find them.

All I remember was that I sent GM Feisar (e-Games) a personal message asking to refresh my bf's account... dang thing kept disconnecting whenever he looged in using his baby brawler.

One of my girl friends got a new cp number today. Her old one got busted, and I don't know how the hell that happened. o.O EiC talks ensued, still muttering on about why those two ganged up on her.

January 8, 2007 - Monday

Yes I skipped a day.. ^^; I don't remember what happened kasi. XD So... new week, new episode of Princess Hours. Hek, hek, hek. I like online videos better than the Pinoy sub... but it's cute to watch them at times. ^^ Uri-kun sent me a long message today about the differences of men and women.

January 9, 2007 - Tuesday

One of my girl friends came over this afternoon to discuss EiC with me. We also talked about the 2 vs 1 incident she got caught in. I proposed that we (the Wei B group) have a meeting with all 4 of us remaining active members to discuss the suggestions given in our previous brainstorming sessions. I also told her (more like assured her) "We're having a meeting because we're discussing EiC, NOT because I have a bone to pick with that... girl. There won't be any scandalous banter." Of course, I'd be the host of the meeting, I won't dare start a fight in my own home.

Then Tita Amy, mom of one of my closest HS buddies came over late that night, asking if I've seen her daughter (my buddy) lately. Of course, I answered no. I was shocked to find out she ran away from home. As if my problems with my life wasn't enough ne? T_T Right then and there I got to investigating online and calling on the help of some online friends. My girl friend who was still at home when Tita came, helped me try to pick traces of Lala (nickname I gave to my missing friend) on the Net. First was Friendster, but I observed that she hasn't been using her account for quite some time. Also, the internet alias she used when we were in HS is a common Japanese name. How many Miharu's are there on the Net anyway!? @_@ It was a hopeless case.

Tita left our home with a very tired expression on her face. A few minutes later, my friend's dad came to pick her up as well, and my dad came home. "This has been a very busy hour... @_@" was all I managed to say.

January 10, 2007 - Wednesday

As if having problems with EiC, Wei B and my missing friend wasn't enough, my boyfriend's RAN account gets blocked. Why? Who the hell knows. =_= all I know is that he didn't do anything wrong and punishable by the rules of the game. Took it up with quite a few GameMasters too.

And all this time I thought I'm getting away from the hustle and bustle of being a Forum Moderator. *sigh!*

Question on Account Blocking: Is Helpdesk Policy different from Game Policy on the Forums?

Pasensya na kung kung medyo mahaba to... I just have to relate everything I know. Di ako sanay magshortcut ng kwento.

Now, the situation went like this. My boyfriend who owns MeisterArcher (a no-name archer on Alab ^^) said he bought a new buddy transmission card earlier today. Later on he tried logging in his account using his other character, a brawler. He says he keeps disconnecting. This has happened before and what I did was send a PM to GM Feisar. He refreshed the account, and after that everything was ok again. This time I found GM Amethy online, so I asked her. A few minutes after my PM, my boyfriend said his account is blocked. We don't know what exactly happened, because we've known each other before RAN, and I don't know of any scam or illegal trade cases linked to him.

I sent a PM to GM Trent (Amethy was gone) asking why the account got blocked, she replied something like "I requested the helpdesk to temporarily block my account", and gave me the helpdesk hotline. So I asked my bf to call the number.

When he got off the phone and returned to YM where I was waiting, and this is what he said:

GM's please clear this naman. Ako na ang naglakad nito kasi sobrang sama ng loob ng bf ko. I want to clear this kasi the way I see it, your game policies are even worse than our previous games... at least dun kahit di palaging nao-observe (dahil maraming puro satsat lang at walang official report), iisa lang ang rules na sinusunod. And kung ano ang sinasabi sa forums, yun talaga ang nasa Player Policies....

Interesting huh? Well my day didn't end there. Tita Amy came over after lunch to show me a picture of Lala with a few friends from school, asking if I know any of them. She looked as stressed as she did yesterday. That's when I thought, I HAVE to find that stupid girl, and soon.

I rested early that night because my poor brain broke down. I was thinking too much = STRESS.

January 11, 2007 - Thursday

Today would've been a monthsary for someone. Anyway I continued battling my way through the account block case and thankfully by the end of the afternoon, the account was finally released, all thanks to the combined efforts of GMs Amethy, Imrahil, Morticia, Trent and Feisar. Amethy receives the most pats on the back from me coz she totally dissed the stubborn Help Desk agent. He was insisting my bf did something wrong! LOL! According to Jerome, all it took was a PM from Amethy saying "release his account."

GM Morticia also sent me an apology message. For me, that was enough. I hoped Jerome wouldn't be too pissed that he wasted one day of his Buddy Transmission Card [15D]... it was a good thing he didn't have to be lectured on availing the 1,000EP amnesty program by e-Games. LOL.

January 12, 2007 - Friday

I was supposed to play midnight today, but I unfortunately slept in. I woke up again around 2AM, and was about to creep downstairs to play... but as I was passing my mom's room I heard her talking on the phone in a loud voice. "bank", "update", "BIR". Three keywords told me it was Dad. I retreated to the safety of my room and sent Jerome a message that I might not make it, and that Mom was still up. I fell back asleep.

At 7AM, we talked again. He was rather pissed that I slept in twice when he wanted to talk to me. The whole scene was blurry... All I remember is that he was asking me if he still wants US, and that earlier on he seriously wanted to break it up with me, but he can't. I don't remember how many times he said "I love you"... and that in the end, we patched things up. I will have to be more careful with my cellphone from now on. The next time my Mom sees his lovey-dovey messages, I might not be able to talk myself out of it.

I remember I cried. A lot. In fact I was afraid I'd go downstairs with puffy, red eyes. When my Mom went into my room, I told him I had to go and the call was cut off. Then I slept for another hour and went downstairs looking rather normal, thank God.

We had many customers today. (I also sent them an update via Chikka that we have O2Jam and Battle Position now, but the latter doesn't effin work: no servers!) Weekend's fast approaching and I just got meself a big chunk of the Goong OST. Weee! I also got good news from Tita Amy today: the prodigal daughter's come back home! Ohhhh! I swear when I see that girl I WILL give her a nice big knuckle sandwich! X3 the worst was over, and I'm happily listening to Goong OST. ^_^

Yeah, when we're in good terms, I turn into a mushy neko, and in turn, I appreciated the Goong OST even more. *daydreams*

Start the New Year right with ORIGA!

I know I was 2 (maybe 3) days late to bring up a new post, but New Year and Youtube kept me hell a lot busy and I can say it was worth the wait. Last week, I was decided on putting videos of Emma and its classical, Victorian-style music, then I saw Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig, and decided I'd go for Origa this week instead. XD

Origa is a Russian-born singer who went to Japan to eventually start a career. She is best recognized by her songs coupled in the GITS series and OVA. How does one describe her? While I'd simply say "a really awesome and distinguished singer", I found that lacking in sense @_@ so I'd go for "a revolutionary, multi-talented and open-minded foreign artist". LOL XD Anyway her songs themselves can speak in her behalf. She speaks three languages fluently FYI! That's one hard task. Singing and understanding it is a feat in itself as well. @_@


Inner Universe: First up is the opening theme for Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 攻殻機動隊. (the first series, where you get to see young Motoko crushing a poor doll in her hand T_T) I found this AMV with scenes taken from the Korean sci-fi animation movie, Wonderful Days, which in my opinion is a perfect match for the song's cyberpunk feel.


Rise: This is a crowd favorite (and many prove this by making quite a large number of AMV's with this song, even if it's not GitS) and is the opening theme for Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2nd Gig. These are scenes from the high octane sci-fi action film, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children which btw is a story set 2 years after the happenings in the FFVII game. You can say it's a tribute to Cloud x Tifa, but in general, the song fits in perfectly to the film highlights, and to the fact that Cloud WAS an ex-SOLDIER.


Lullaby: This is one of her more recent songs (it's in Russian/English again) and the AMV includes scenes from Kingdom Hearts II. (This AMV reminded me how much I'm missing by not being able to play Kingdom Hearts. T_T) At first it does sound awkward, but after some time, the song kinda grows on you. Thank God Origa has a smooth, crystal clear voice. *meow!*


Player: This is the full version of the Ghost in the Shell: SAC Solid State Society OVA opening theme (gawd, they pick such long names! *pulls hair in frustration*), featuring a rap done by the sister singers Heartsdales. Origa's videos are scarce, so my choices were very few, and I liked this one best. (timing to animation is perfect around the middle of the AMV! XD)


Date of Rebirth: The full version of the SAC OVA ending theme (I tell you, the title's too long! @_@) Video clips taken from Naruto episodes, and the creator called this A Yankumo Tribute. And I assume plenty of people already know the Foxboy so no more links. ^^


Mizu no Madoromi: Last but not least is one of Origa's Nihonggo songs, which is also used as the ending theme of Fantastic Children. The series itself is not well known (the drawings aren't too appealing, just average I guess), but the song, being unique and melodious was given more credit. It's a pity FC's story wasn't appreciated as much as I anticipated. *sigh* Don't mind the video if it bothers you, I intend to only let you hear the song. XD

Russian is a very difficult language to learn T_T and I once said, "They use v, s and y too much." and it's true! Check the lyrics for these songs, they sure aren't healthy @_@ took me a while to learn how to pronounce them, and I'm sure as hell it'll take longer to read and write the words. :P
