Episode 23 of Shugo Chara! was so precious~! I did my best to resist... but.. I... just... can't! >w<

SPOILER starts HERE!!!

So anyway, Su got captured by Nikaidou-sensei and he challenged Amu to come to his research lab. The ep itself begins with Amu running off after school to save Su. Meanwhile at Nikaidou's place, Su tries to catch the ex-teacher's attention (with that irritatingly Reiko Asagiri-ish voice) and succeeds. She also managed to make him appear chibi a couple of times. XD

Cotton pantsu?

Su wanted to clean up the room so Nikaidou lets her out. Outside, Amu, Ran and Miki continue their search for the Easter employee dorm, but end up bumping into Ikuto. He never misses the chance to tease our heroine. Heeeh. -,-

A hit on the head then this? Mean but cute!

Ikuto tells Amu of what he knows on Nikaidou-sensei's actions, and even explains who the 'lord' is: the big boss of Easter company.

Ikuto-sama! Waaaaaaaahh! *bites on handkerchief as tears flow like waterfalls* *sniff sniff* Anyway... Su proceeds to clean up the place, then finds the robots that the teacher made in his youth. He gets angsty and asks her not to touch useless things. He went as far as to tell Su about his plans, and why he needs a character transforming heart's egg for his project. Su panicked like hell. XD

Obviously, she revolted. lol

Art done for Su in this frame resembles my drawing style back in High School. @_@ Going back, Amu successfully infiltrates the dorm and is welcomed by an army of robots run by X egg energy. It's time for chara nari!

She seemed badly outnumbered when a ball hit one of the robots and there she found the Guardians standing by the door. They took over the horde while Amu looked for Su.

Here come the cavalry?

Before Amu's arrival, Su begged for Nikaidou-sensei to stop. This is where we learn of what happened to his heart's egg and how he deviated from his dream. Amu finally enters the room where Nikaidou and Su are, she is stopped by the X egg energy then Ran asks that she change with her.

Heeeh, it's the boomerang-throwing cheerleader! x3

She throws her baton which shatters the window, the egg machine and frees Su. The bad thing about this is she sets the X egg energy free as well, which leaks out to enter the empty robots' bodies and forms one giant trash heap. o.O Amu was determined to break it, but Su finds the picture of Nikaidou-sensei and his teacher in the monster's core. She requests that she change with Amu to fix things up.

All three character changes in one epi! Sweet! <3

Amu + Su use 'Remake Honey' to return all of the robots to normal, cleanse all the X eggs, and repair Nikaidou-sensei's broken heart's egg. I had no idea where he was hiding it btw.

In fact they fixed everything save for the egg machine and the freakin' window. Su! You go fix them with 'pew pew pew!' and miss the freakin' window! >w< 'Scientist' disappears then Su explains that it's not too late to recover his shugo chara, and that it can be renewed as many times as needed. This obviously gives him heart despite his display of 'cool' attitude. In the end, all's well that ends well when he gets fired from Easter, and discovers that he still has a way to revive his childhood dream.

In other news, I'm at home sick, AGAIN. On doctor's orders I am supposed to stay at home and rest for 2 days. NOOOOOOOOO!!! We have an apprentice meeting! God if you're really up there, have mercy on me and give my mom temporary memory loss! I need to go to that meeting even if my snot runs all over the place! T^T

Changes in the workplace
On another hand, our department got transferred to the basement last week. I tell you, it's TERRIBLE down there. Aside from the fact that we don't get any sunshine, the place looks kinda lonely with so very few agents around. Admittedly, the room's not too lonely when the team's there, but knowing my new position, I have to go on overtime almost everyday because I have reports to finish. By the time they're gone, it's like your voice can echo off the walls of the freakin' room. :|

Another thing you can't help but complain about is the restroom ambiance. You have to hold your breath the whole time to survive the suffocating smell. I have no idea HOW some people can endure it. x_x


So here's a recap of what's new in the office:
1) Thrown down to the basement
2) New bay is a sparse, purple color-themed row of tables
3) No sound system
4) The room is big but there's nothing exciting in it
5) Restrooms stink

If my CSAT doesn't do a somersault and go back to being 80-90+, I might go back to being grim. Horrrrr~! x( And I miss the songs playing on Paul's iPod! Pfft~!

Back to Basics

I filed my VL last week, so I have 4 days straight with nothing to do, and all the time to myself. I'm looking forward to having my tired nerves treated to a massage sometime soon (time to use that Suriya gift card!), in fact I already started. I treated myself to foot spa yesterday at Waltermart before I went home. :3

It's been so long since I knew the feeling of relaxed pleasure.


Burn out = Pressure + Exhaustion
The past two weeks have been nothing but hell for me; one blow after another coming in and breaking me into pieces, literally. There was only one sentence that made me realize how much I've changed: "Your style is totally different now.. you're no longer sweet." People knew me for being the cheery neko and always have been the noisy, chattery girl whose giggle was contagious. Well I got to keep the giggle part. But I wasn't happy inside. I never once complained about work, but if people start abusing me, I have a high tendency of breaking. I used to stand up and fight back, but lately I've been feeling too helpless that I couldn't even start to lift a finger. Words used to have more spite, but in the world I am now, that's all they are: just words.

I thought of quitting more than once. This part is normal. But for me to think of morbid things against these people who've been putting me under much strain is another. If I remember correctly, a good friend once told me this: "If looks can kill, you'd be an assassin by now." I was reminded of it when Jenn told me 'how scary I look when I'm not smiling'. (seriously, do I look that bad?) Now I tell him, what good can looks do? I never have free rein, and don't wish for it, coz if I do get that I'll start taking revenge in an underhanded way.

I wish I can make them regret they were ever born.

Lately I've also been feeling that I ought to be with myself, socializing has just not been as fun as it used to be. Ate Jenn, one of my teammates and probably my closest colleague, commented on this odd demeanor she noticed. She said I was isolating myself, expressing worry that my scores may be affecting me too much. Well it's not just that, there's more to it. :( "Think of Dyo isolating herself for a while (after you fought), then think of me, and triple that."

...Ah well, good old days. How I miss them. :(


Dreaming of London
Speaking of taking a vacation, I always wanted to go to London. Not the modern one, I want to see it when it was just the era of steam engines and foggy cobblestone streets. I've always had a place in my heart for this era -- back when I was bumming around at home, I used to sketch how I visualize those days. What was it back then, Victorian period? I just remembered I wanted to watch the second season of Emma: A Victorian Romance. ^_^ Now that I have BitTorrent, I just wished I had time to download eps off the net.

Searching for Inspiration
2 words: Saiunkoku Monogatari. I'm 10 episodes away from concluding Season 1 on DVD (but I did watch it on Animax too), and the more I watch, the more I'm convinced that after I've taken my rest, I can resume my work with a healthy start.

I'll be watching Season 2 later tonight on Crunchyroll. Watch it and give it a try. Don't let the thought of Fushigi Yugi ruin this series for you. IT IS DIFFERENT.

Anyways, I think it's time I go to sleep. WL Online on fishing and remote mode, all's well. Ta-ta~

Finally, after weeks of waiting, we finally got to watch Kung Fu Panda at Mall of Asia yesterday afternoon. I know I've been venting out for the last couple of days somewhere else that I'm dying to see the movie, but kept waiting for the chance to see it with the folks -- so I held my ground till my dad got around to Manila for the affair.



Cosplay and its Rewards
Due to the Dress up we held at the office, I asked my mom to come around to Makati at Friday evening to bring my college uniform. The whole team (well, at least the majority) agreed on dressing in uniforms or improvised ones for the occasion, and I guess the fact that things did not end lightly when our shift ended added to the "pressure".

I stayed in the 9th floor with Jackie and left at around 2PM to check on my internet hubs for any interesting updates. At around 4PM, I rushed around the boarding house to meet my mom and prep up for what's to come. I asked her to buy Buko Pie for Lola Cely as a token of our gratitude for letting her stay the night whenever Mom has an appointment the next day. There was an awarding ceremony later on around 10PM (I fetched my award in my uniform, looking exactly when I was still in school, ROFL), and Jackie and I ate our free lunches at Jollibee (yeah well management brought free food from Jollibee, but since our pantry simply looks like a counter because it's THAT small, we carried our food downstairs to the fast food itself. o.O) Did I mention I saw Boss Tim smile at me before we left? I think I should cosplay more. lol

My day ended with me turning my Out of Office Assistant on, and changing my signature as Pam (QAS) instructed. Little did I know that there was more to expect...


A Stay Long Overdue
My dad called several minutes after my shift ended, and informed us that we'll be meeting in MoA later for a little family date. So we set off for my room in the boarding house, and mom busied herself with my laundry (she finds it entertaining) while I caught a few Z's. The flaw in the plan was this: it suddenly poured cats and dogs up there in Bulacan, so my dad called up to say he wants to push through with the date, to which my mom and I disapproved. We postponed it for the next day, Sunday, which meant a lower chance of me getting home to Laguna for some important files that I had to get. =_= This also meant my mom had to sleep over at Lola Cely's again. Pooh.


Patience is a Virtue
I had to wake up at 6AM the next morning but despite the eagerness in the time, my body was far from cooperating with me in the feat. I was sleepy, heck. We went to the Shrine of Jesus to hear the 9:30 mass, and walked off to the department store.

Aside from a momentary disruption by a store clerk in the perfume section, I also amused myself to trying on a few girly outfits that I found at Shapes (endorsed by Toni Gonzaga). I had the sales lady demo how to do a necktie, as I have lousy memory of what Boss JC just showed us how to do the other night before. XD I took a pic of me trying on some stuff. Hahaz! Once I get a hold of the CA-42 cable, I can finally relieve both my 6610i and 6070 of old pics needing storage. lol All the walking made us hungry, and as soon as we met my dad (who btw had difficulty recognizing me, haha), we rushed to the Food court.


The Art of Pigging Out
...lies not in the price nor quantity of the food, but in its quality.

The same goes for work quality, as someone I know often says. Anyway, I had the option to pick the stall I want, and I chose one with Chinese cuisine. I was in need of veggies (I seriously have to consider the vegetarian diet soon) and had an odd craving for lomi. By this time, I urged to have a look see at the cinemas to check if Kung Fu Panda's still showing, but the indoor tourist trolley attracted my attention. XD This is no childhood issue mind you, but I think you'd agree with me that a free tour of the mall would do you not only relaxed sight seeing, but also a sense of pride in having people ogle at you like you're a celeb. MWAHAHAHAHALAFLAF XD I had the delight of seeing a woman shriek, "Ay Diyos ko po, may sasakyan sa loob!" then later whisper, "Bakit may sasakyan sa loob?" *sigh* newbs. XD XD XD


Searching for Pandamonium
We at last came to a stop exactly where we first rode on the trolley, then set out for silverscreen. I was somewhat disappointed to find that they are no longer showing on the regular cinemas. But we had one last hope -- IMax. We walked off then took the stairs to the entrance of the theater. I found to my delight that they were still showing it, and the next show starts in about 40 minutes. Yay! The bad thing is, earlier in the Food court, my dad complained that I haven't treated him for my birthday and for Father's day, as well as for my recent promotion. x_x At that moment, I just felt like the world was crushing me for I have unknowingly committed myself to shelling out 900 bucks for watching the movie.

To pay for the fee, I needed to encash since they won't accept my ATM debit at IMax. Luckily, my dad rose to the occasion and gave me his extra cash, and to my surprise, he said it's partial payment for the money he borrowed. Weh. -.- so in other words, I still have to pay for the movies. I began to feel that I promised more than I should give myself credit for. T.T

Well in the end, it wasn't entirely a loss. It's very rare for my dad to watch a movie and not fall asleep, and during the course of the film, he laughed his wits off and so did the rest of the audience. Kung Fu Panda is AWESOME! <3


iPod misadventures
I asked my dad for a stroll 'round the techie block so I could search for the MAC Center while he lines up at the Smart Center for a follow up. We discussed when exactly I'll buy my prospect gadget and I told him maybe I will purchase it another time. He was offering to use his BPI card then I'll pay off the monthly installments to my mom. With the payroll just around the corner, I couldn't help but feel agitated that I don't have money yet, so I told him I'll save it for another time.

I need to save up for a lot of stuff, WAAAAAH. T^T anyway, I'll eventually get there. *sigh*

One happy Sunday morning (the day after I had my hair cut), me and my younger sister were having a light chat while watching Ouran on DVD.

Yes, your resident crazy cat just gained another year on this barren world of nonsensical existence. lol


Office Rampahan

Everyone knows when they hear someone say "Question?", it's gotta be Jules -- the morning shift senior agent on the floor who has a habit of making rampa in between the bays. While I was prepping up for work on a hot, Monday afternoon, I remembered that I should wear wedges with the slim jeans. Unbecoming of me right? I just thought "para maiba", after all, it's formally the first day I'll be going around in my new do.

The element of surprise struck the team like they never knew what hit them. XD Though I really think some of them had violent reactions at first ('Anong ginawa mo sa buhok mo!?' with galit-shocked-disappointed expression) but later on, they just learned to accept that what's done is done and I've already had about 12 inches of my hair cut off from me forever. (basically 3 months, it'll grow back by then)

I remember Jon, one of our QAS, saying the Saturday before that during the Ten Royalties' Night Out, that I looked like Boss JC already (oh and YES she was shocked XD) and this too: "Nakow, maiinlab nyan lalo sayo si Russel Sustiguer!" Foul Jon, foul! >.< I think nabati niya ako since Russel said the same thing on Monday. Knowing Russel, I'm sure he passes it off as a joke. @_@; I'm having fun styling my hair in an anime-ish fashion now that it's short XD I can do Yuna and Selphie now~ Perhaps if I come to work wearing a yellow jumper, I can have a valid excuse for trolling around the bay and bugging the hell off people. (as if I don't do that enough XD!) Come to think of it, Jon said he'll send the pics to our personal emails. Haven't received them yet. =_=;


Wandurrland
Due to my being sick and having a busy work schedule (wth do I do? Just work and sleep =_=), I barely have any time to play at all. Next thing I knew, Cancer server is up. I migrated there. XD I finally discovered how to get the secret character Breillat from Ocean Star, so that's what my character looks like right now. I'm in the headgear business again. lol

If you're selling your tiger, I'm buying! Shoot a PM at Ame-chan. I often grace Cancer 3 with my presence but I prefer marketing at 1 or 2. :p

Do you guys remember when I ranted after my first payroll that I had to pay more than 1k for a check up and medicines? Well it just happened again. Migraine plus abdominal pains made me take 2 days of absence. My double pay next week won't be enough to compensate for this! Gawd! T^T

Anyways, it took way too much time for me to post this update. This is the phone I won from the office raffle two weeks ago. It's a Panasonic Digital Cordless Phone, worth roughly 2,000 PhP.

Now I'm planning to sell the dang thing to earn money for something I can really use. It's not that I can't use the phone, it's just nobody uses the landline at home anymore. Mah. XD

While we're on the topic of nostalgia, I finished downloading that game I was raving about in a previous post. It goes by the name of Wonderland Online. Here's a lil' taste of the game so far.

- character automatically logs out on its own and the problem's not in my internet connection


I'm sure they can get the weaknesses of the game down pat sometime soon, the game's fairly new so don't expect a flawless game yet. I'll make an even more detailed post about Wonderland Online next time. For those who badly miss the good old times (at B*** *C oh noes!! :O) with the trusty PlayStation, it's worth checking this game for what it's worth. ^_^
