It says you'll never want to drink soda again after you see this. Well, the page is saying there's no available survey for my country. Hence, I still don't know what the heck it is. ._. Okay... that sucks.

For the record, I went to the clinic yesterday to have a checkup because of my allergies (caused by my own stupidity, sigh) and noontime fever. The doctor scared me by saying it was Herpes Simplex. Turns out, it was just an aftereffect of the rogue allergy. WTF. I still have to observe myself and come back if my lip swelling doesn't stop after 2 days. He says we can't rule out the Herpes. UGH. Nice. /headdesk

I just ran a Wikipedia search just in case. I found the keywords "fever blisters" and "oral herpes". Okay, sounds safe enough for me. I DID run a fever. And I had a freakin allergy. Sue me. OTL

So, while I'm being perfectly behaved (BAWAL KONTRA @$&*!~), I'm back to downloading loads of songs in hopes that one day, I'll get to add more songs again to my iPod. It feels more like it now belongs to Jay rather than it supposedly belonging to me. *laughs* Well, I did get to keep Whitey (the PSP) while he has the iPod. I miss Crisis Core and Audition Portable already ;___; I was rewatching the epilogue just now on the PC (for the umpteenth time) and I still get teary-eyed. I think if I was in Cloud's position, I would have thrown myself all over Zack. But being in the body of a guy, that would have looked... awkward. It's bad enough that my mom thinks Zack is gay a girl. D: *positively bawling*

In other news, I got meself an Audition lanyard! :3 I forgot to bring it with me though, I can use it to secure my phone when I go out. Cuteness, but I was told it cost PHP 100, which I personally thought was too much considering the 'thickness' of the fabric used. Ahem. Meh, let's just say the 80-Peso value can pass as "souvenir material". XD

That's it for this update. I need to take my medicine, and my lower lip is still swollen. T__T

I soooo did not know my old highschool friend, Issa Sarosario now has a baby girl. Actually, I didn't even know she got pregnant. Nakita ko lang sa FB primary pic nya yung pic ng baby. /headdesk

Anyways... congrats Issa! Take care of your baby and make sure she grows up not just like you but better than you. Accomplishment yun! Hehe. Don't we all want the best for our kids (to-be)? *wink*

In other news, I got back in contact with another dear highschool friend thanks to his great *ahem* stalking skillz and some friends who disclosed too much personal information on the net. =.= Mixed feelings right here.

If anyone remembers Ray Christian Joaquin, yeah that's him. I know HE HASN'T CHANGED A BIT XDXD still the same complexion, still wearing glasses. It's like it was just yesterday he was saying goodbye and entrusting his Playstation game collection to me. ACK I SOUND LIKE AN OLD LADY D: I just remembered him because the song playing right now was one of his recommendations. You rock dude. Miss ya, come back home to PH sometime with your wifey! :3

I think I'd better log out now while I still have time to get some decent sleep. I go to Domination 4 tomolo! RAWR!

As I told my officemates, I found this letter quite amusing and funneh. One close friend even commented that my dad's pretty involved with politics. As a matter of fact, he is. But he's matured enough to know that it causes nothing more than a few bouts of random hysteria, a little consolation, and a whole load of stress. HAHA.

I think I was set to be a BCC recipient? Or maybe he forwarded it somehow, but the email wasn't marked as FW:, so I assumed he set me to BCC. Many might think I'm being awfully biased. Forgive me, but my dad and mom have been Ninoy fans, and I personally admire Tita Cory. It goes to say that they're most likely gonna vote for NoyNoy, and I recently did that too with the 7-Elections thing. And what better excuse to give than me and Kris Aquino sharing first names? XD

I just read this morning of Jojo Binay's accusation re: Cheaper Medicines. I can't help but go nuts over because it seemed that they are much in favor of "a commission" running the whole thing. Sa next Harapan, will you kindly clarify this issue deeply para malaman ng madlang pipol na kaya nga ayaw natin sa isang "Commission" ay mahilig ang mga ito na "mangumisyon" - kaya nga commission eh obvious na nga.

Am (not just saddened but) irritated, disgusted that the scheduled Harapan Tandem did not push through, because your opponents (chicken & roosters) suddenly felt that they would be on the losing end because it would be clearly painted on their faces. Ung rehistro sa cam on live (ng mga pikon at sinungaling) cannot be doubted. (should you wish to confirm this, kindly ask your ms. Korina kasi kita niya agad ang mga ito, ni-replay pa nga-katawa-tawa tuloy).

Have also commented on several occasions how we voters can wisely go to an easier approach of selecting the candidates they wish to vote for. One thing I do is when we friends get into conversations, I would simply ask, ano ang pwede mong maipamana sa pamilya mo kahit wala kang pera? Isang makahulugang boto para sa kanila . . . (kapalit ng luha)

Disoriented (again)

Wow, and here I am asking myself what I've been up to in the last several months which prevented me from updating my blog. As pathetic as it may sound, I WAS BUSY! XD

So work hasn't been all that hectic like it used to be, but as you grow accustomed to your lifestyle you just tend to... tire of old habits. I guess that's the most valid reason I can come up with. Bilhin nyo na please~~

Anyhoo, I kinda miss blogging. Prolly because I got into this lil' talk with my former boss and we had fun talking about her story-which-sounds-much-like-fan fiction-but it-isn't-fan fiction-daw (yeah shoor) XD We'll see if I can fit it in my sked ne? What I really need soon is a freakin laptop. And a broadband thingy. Ugh! Money come to meeeeeeeeeeeee!! /headdesk

Sino si Ricky Lee?

According to my research, he's the multi awarded film scriptwriter whose scripts were used in classic Filipino films. This includes Dyesebel (1990), Bawal na Gamot (1994), Madrasta (co-writer, 1996), Curacha, ang babaeng walang pahinga (1998), Rizal (co-writer, 1998), Muro-Ami (co-writer, 1999), Deathrow (2000), Anak (2000), Aishite Imasu 1941 (2004) and Dubai (2005), among many other titles. These are just some of the movies I recognized from his long list of works, but saying I'm amazed is an understatement.

To be honest, I didn't know Ricky Lee before today.

Embarrassing truth, I know, but one has to be honest when it comes to things like this. I guess it was fate's doing that I met him today :p

So Jay and I went to SM North Edsa to meet with his seller from eBay, that's where they agreed to meet up so he can pay for his item. It's a small figurine of Konata Izumi from Lucky Star, his late Christmas gift to me. (it's this little baby!) While we were there, he decided to take me on a tour around "the mall he grew up in". Weh.

We passed by National Bookstore and found a stack of Millionaires game boxes. I had him check on the price, then I decided to go in to check if they had Monopoly. God knows I've been looking for a cheap version everywhere @_@ it's hard. I'm set on settling for the localized game.. =/ Anyway while we were there, an announcement caught my attention. Actually, I just remembered the new book I read about on the internet. Ricky Lee was having a book signing session in about 1 1/2 hour. (insert gasp of awe here) We decided to eat and walk around a bit before going back...

When we finally returned to the bookstore, the entrance was packed. I swore some teens

were actually swooning and squealing. Like, ugh..? Sabay tingin ako sa loob, may kasama palang artista. Later I learned those two used to be PDA scholars. I don't really feel too sorry to have a weak celebrity radar~ ^^;; Back to topic, I did what I came to do. I bought my copy of Para kay B for P225, had Jay pick up a raffle stub for us (we got Trip to Quiapo for free!!), lined up for book signing and got a picture taken with Ricky Lee.

I walked away feeling beyond amazed. Dude, I was starstruck; not by the ex-PDA scholars, but by Ricky's presence. It doesn't matter to me that I spent 20+ years of my life going about watching movies and TV series which he had some kind of contribution in. Simply put, natuwa ako sa ginawa ko. I'm running on a low budget and am depending on Jay to provide for us for the rest of the week (XD), but I couldn't care less. It was at that time that I finally felt the weight of stardom around him. Wtf!

Actually part of the reason I was feeling giddy after all that was the fact that I though Ricky Lee and Ricky Lo were the same person. Yes, I LOL. XDDD And he wrote sweet notes on our dedications; maybe (partly?) because we were among the first five to ask for his autograph. Nyehehehe. I asked Jay to take pictures of the whle thing. Di ko dala yung Para kay B copy ko, Jay took it with him.
