Well, I don't know! o.O

So being in the Customer Service business does have its perks, especially in my account -- the "work" we do is something I am very comfortable with. It's something I personally can't complain about. The enjoyment I get off it overshadows whatever undesirable policies the client has. Ahaha! Shh.

Anyhoo a few weeks ago, I had this one conversation that I had to note down because I promised I'd listen to the song when I get the chance. The member said there was this song by Matthew Sweet entitled "Evangeline", and asked if I heard of it. I honestly said no, and he recommended the song to me. You can say it's some kind of dedication, or maybe he just remembered due to my alias. lol

I'm currently downloading a Free-To-Play MMORPG which reminds me of Valkyrie Profile's battle scenes (well the fonts they used for the attack damage looked similar at first glance, blame my eyes!), and the game graphics kind of resemble my favorite 2D games for PlayStation. You guys know I'm all for Old Skool. XD I'll give y'all a heads up when I'm done. Lookin' forward to a new game~ :3

I downloaded a full version of BeTrapped! via BitTorrent (if you noticed, I had it open while I changed my Multiply page layout XD) and played the Adventure game. I started at around 2am and finished everything around 7. Winner!

BeTrapped! Initial Screen

BeTrapped! is a mystery game wherein you have to disarm traps, the clues are provided ala Minesweeper, and you finish the level as soon as you get rid of all traps in the room. There's no time limit. There are two available game modes: Puzzle and Adventure, and 3 difficulty levels for Puzzle: Easy, Medium and Deadly.

Puzzle would give you a series of boards and your score will be based on number of misses committed, number of lives left, and how much time it took for you to solve the board. You only have 3 misses and 3 lives to spare, and they don't get replenished after each board.

Mode: Puzzle / Level: Deadly

Adventure is its so-called "Story mode", which sends the protagonist, Inspector Parker, on his mission at Ravencourt Castle where the heiress' life is believed to be in danger. There's a wonderful twist in the end, and I got really dismayed that I didn't know how to play the damn last level. I didn't get a perfect score because of it. T_T It's a good thing I can do the investigation part all over again, hence I got this score:

After a few hours of fun, I decided to play one of my old skool faves.

Note: The argument was about my Lineage 2-SEA account, and my Elven Elder character named Amaryllis. This guy seemed to think I'd give him my account just like that because he asked for it in the past.

The guy I argued with here is a former member of my old Audition club (which has now evaporated from the forefront btw), Pussyfierz. He was an ex-bf of one of the club founders. She had no apparent contributions to the community by herself. Now there's your trivia.

Now those who know me since I started playing that I never entrusted my accounts to ANYONE ELSE if I quit that game. This is the first time I did it, and I gave my accounts to my boyfriend. Nothing weird in that right? There's a first for everything.

Back to topic, the argument is just soooooo shallow, right?

Sad. Boss went on VL so the bay's not as happy as it usually is. The atmosphere's just bland without her (already) normal presence around us. :| Hopefully they enjoy their stay in Baguio though. She definitely needs the rest.

Phone Flurry
Bad news comes our way when Alex got the phone examined, and said it was broken -- the guy from Wellcom, whoever he is said maybe it's the mechanism or the OS, but when Mike had it tested in a repair center near his place, the phone worked. Now I hate thinking badly against my fellowmen (which incidentally, I am soooo used to doing..?), but it's inevitable to hazard a guess that he didn't want the phone after all. He ended up buying a brand new phone, and had to borrow money from a friend to do it too. = =;

I was expecting a full blown sermon from Mike, that he would be accusing me of the canceled sale because the phone accidentally dropped in Glorietta when I was searching the box for the phone manual. He didn't seem emotionally affected about it, but he is kind of worried about the refund. I saw his ATM account and was shocked and disheartened to find his salary for the first half of the month.

After money talks, I just thought of how I'm supposed to budget my payroll, since I'm planning to buy a new phone. Though frankly speaking, I'm not sure if I'm ready to buy one yet. It's like "damned if you do, damned if you don't". Do you ever get that feeling? I know in myself that I want a new phone, and would really need a new phone (necessity and luxury -- reward for work), but I just don't want to shell out so much money for one that would satisfy both my wants and needs. See? Call me OC, but it's just how I am. *meep meep* ¯3¯;

By the way, I missed out on posting an update for the books I bought last week on eBay. Here they are now.

The Complete Collection, at last. (Copyright 1986)

My all time favorite fiction character who is NOT an anime character, the Master Detective Sherlock Holmes. He's the same guy who inspired me into falling in love with the mystery genre. I'm crazy about it -- mystery games, novels, short stories, anime series + manga, and everything inspired by crime and murder. I know I said in the past that I get awfully frightened by the sight of blood, but anything synthetic's fine with me. My brain has this knack for distinguishing the real from the fake. (´・ω・｀)

The weird thing about it is that I never developed a liking for CSI. It's similar in many ways, but I just never found it in me to like the series. At all. Maybe because AXN's schedule clashes with my school schedule back then, but that's not the only reason. I could've bought a whole collection of episodes when I made a trip to Quiapo with Joey, but heck. I just didn't make the move.

This brings me to the conclusion that I just enjoy watching detectives on anime, and reading English mysteries tackling forensic work and police investigations and stuff. Nothing more, nothing less.

Oh, ignore the post title. It was just my way of summarizing what I babbled about on this particular update. lol

Tomorrow Alex gets his new phone! Wai~!! I'll be hitting two birds with one stone actually. So yeah, I'm celebrating. XD Are you wondering why? Then allow me to explain. *ahem ahem*

Hubby tried to sell his phone on eBay.ph but the winning bidder turned out to be a stud and didn't even contact him after. The other interested buyers already got tired of WAITING for his reply to their messages, so after almost a month, the phone still hasn't been sold.

Teh ever elusive 6260~

By pure luck or divine intervention, I saw Alex's status on YM, saying he's buying a second hand phone: preference, flip/PDA. (oh damn, I had to ask him what he called the phone again XD) I messaged him, asked him if he's interested in a Nokia 6260, and voila! Instant buyer.

Once the phone's sold, I can get back at least a part of what is owed to me. Yay! In addition to this, Alex can finally graduate from his ancient 1100! Double yay!! So yeah, I do make a good median at times. >:)

Hey, maybe I should apply as a Trading Assistant somewhere.......... hohohoho~

In other news, I got an award in the office last night~~ turns out I got my arse into the Top 10 agents with highest CSAT scores. Waiii~! I stayed for free food (tangina I sound like a glutton), and all along I actually had a REASON for standing out the ceremony. LOL.

Staying there till 9PM was well worth it. XD
