We watched Twilight's last full show @ MoA which started at 10:15 PM. Loved the movie. I mean for someone who hasn't read the book, I appreciated the movie. Simple as that. There's apparently no need for me to dress up the words.

When we got in the theater, I thought we were pretty early because we're probably among the first 20 people in De Luxe. In 20 minutes, I realized the theater was freakin full. We were just on time. lol. Since he got enough sleep, I knew Jay wasn't gonna fall asleep on this one. Meh, he didn't sleep on me when we watched Madagascar 2 so I guess that's enough assurance to hold on to. XD

The beginning was, in my opinion, dark enough. o.O I heard a girl (who I thought was prolly the lead lady) say "I'd never given much thought to how I would die...", I later learned this was the book preface. Bella, the lead who tells the story, had dry humor. I mean, what's up with the line on her being pale despite living in sunny Arizona? She answered 'maybe that's why they kicked me out'? =_=" On a lighter note, Edward Cullen's role was played beautifully by everyone's beloved Diggory, Rob Pattinson. *swoons*

Oh, and there was this one scene they had in the café where Edward told Bella that he can read people's minds. He went "Money, sex, money. Sex.... Cat". The audience laughed. Then I looked at Jay and saw him smiling, he did that for about a full minute. Then I asked him, "So what are you thinking about right now?" He answered "lolcat". ROFL.

I thought the movie's really good for an adaptation, I'll find out soon enough if it lived up to the bestseller book. I just have one evident complaint with the movie, and that's with Kristen Stewart who played Bella. She sort of acted too flatly, rather emotionless if you ask me. If you watch(ed) the trailer you'd know what I mean. You're supposed to be really excited or awed and scared at the same time if you find yourself standing on top of a tree, looking at the vast forest, with or without a vampire. Argh.

When the movie ended, we got up along with the rest of the audience; I was personally feeling rather satisfied. Jay asked me something while we walked out, it went like this:

Jay: So, how would you rate the movie from a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest?
Me: *thinks* ... I'd say about 8.
Jay: *smiles* Ako rin. I'd give it a 7.5.
Me: (thinking I wanna read the books soon, crap~ now I need to save moolah for that)
Jay: I liked how the story revolved on forbidden love.
Me: *stares at Jay* Haha.. I like how you said 'forbidden love'.
Jay: *gives a 'huh' look* What?
Me: I said, I like how you said 'forbidden love'. Doesn't it kinda remind you of something?
Jay: *grins smugly* Did you mean something or someone? (he was referring to a past)

I intended to refer to what we actually had. Or maybe just what I thought we had... lol. I liked the movie because I found something that connects us to them.

By the time we got out of the cinema, it was dark and the hallways were packed with none other than the movie watchers. Bah. Way past curfew... How the hell am I supposed to go back to the boarding house?! ;__;

Dad's birthday. A few hours into our shift and I felt sick; symptoms of my hyperacidity started to really bother me while I was on bio break so I decided to look for my teammates, who consequently went out several minutes before me. Turns out it was worse than the usual and I ended up being rushed to the hospital. Arrr. So much for teh pirate kitteh not getting seasick, no?

(1) This was an ouchie. (2) Can you still read what the nurse wrote?

I sooo did NOT enjoy that hospital visit. Jay's hands were cold and clammy with worry. Really don't want this to happen again.

Oh yeah, I was diagnosed with gastritis. w00t.

Jay and I went to Maxicare -> Makati Medical Center for my follow-up check up at the gastroenterologist. Here's the scene that welcomed us at Maxicare-Filomena:

My boss said something like, "I would've taken on the comfort that you'll be seen by doctors dressed by ghouls, but that's morbid." Ah darn, wish I saved that message. ._. I don't know if she'd be laughing or raising her eyebrow at seeing this, but c'mon... I mean really -- that's a very inviting front and they're doing a fantastic job of promoting good health and wellness.

Btw, their clerks were all dressed in black, there was a coffin with some weird baby's name on it in the reception area (left), and there also was a skeleton in a wheelchair (right). Did I mention their guard was dressed as Dracula? D:

It's not much, but it was home for 10 months.

BDO -- We Find Ways? Or do you?

"Poverty is everywhere" is the punchline made famous by one of my girl friends, Joey. Last week when I rode the bus back to Makati, this reality hit me square on the head like a bucket of ice-cold water. No, the water didn't get poured on me. Someone slammed the effin' bucket ON my head. No no, make that someTHING. Read on to know more.

The story went like this:

Me: *gets off trike and speeds her way up the stairs to BDO*
(groans loudly as she sees ATMs out of service, for the SECOND week)
Ma: *looks at bank guard* Bakit sira pa rin to? Ano bang klaseng bangko kayo, last week pa 'to ah!
Guard: Eh ma'am, ngayon lang dumating yung taga-ayos ng ATM eh.
Me: *walks off in silent frustration*
Ma: Ano ba to, di ka makaka-withdraw ng pambayad sa cellphone...
Me: *crosses street, mom following suit*

(a bus finally arrives in about 15 minutes)

On the bus...

Ma: May pera ka pa ba dyan?
Me: (talking for the first time since I got off the trike btw) ..wala.
Ma: Eh bakit tayo sumakay kung wala tayong pambayad?
*the guy beside me stares at us.*
Me: Magkano ba pera nyo?
Ma: *kalkal bag* Meron pa kong 60 dito.
Me: *rummages around handbag to get wallet and purse*

(I was able to get 2 20-peso bills and the rest were 10 and 5-peso coins)

That was the worst bus ride I have ever been on. I have no idea how many people heard her say the text in bold above, but I'm sure as hell I won't be riding the bus without *more than enough* moolah. Though I did manage to come up with the fare, I had 40 something in coins left, it's embarrassing to have the whole lot hear what my mom has to say. Or maybe I will get on the bus, but I'll tell mom I DO have the money. Talk about major hassle. x_X

Poverty my dear, it eats you inside. T_T

But then again, I wouldn't have to go through all that if BDO fixed their farkin' ATMs. Two weeks man, two WEEKS. All ATMs I checked, from SM Sta. Rosa to Waltermart Sta. Rosa to all ATMs within the vicinity of Buendia-Pasong Tamo, were busted. I had to shell out maybe 44-55 bucks in extra to use another bank's ATM.

"We find ways" huh? You do have a way of managing your customers. When do you plan to improve your customer service? Kudos to you Banco De Oro, for not showing any improvement. *use rocket launcher, bomb BDO GRRRARR!*

Random Thoughts of Melancholy

I was overcome with joy, when he said "I am home, Kaoru," and at that moment, I fulfilled my promise by answering "Welcome back, Shinta".

(Kenji's eyes widened with this confession)

"After a few moments of sitting together by the river, that's when I realized your father was gone. I was happy then, because I am sure that he finally found his answer. His face showed the peace he felt. The scar from his past that kept haunting him no longer exists."

"Then, I cried -- it wasn't because of sorrow, but of joy. I know he is happy to die in my arms..."

"I chose to share the suffering your father went through, which eventually caused his death. I have no regrets at all. My love for your father was more important to me. As such, your father loved you and I, that's why he always went away. Not being with us pained him more than his illness did. If you only took the time to know him, you wouldn't have hated him."

"How could you keep smiling despite your husband constantly leaving you behind?" Kenji asked, hatred marked in his facial features.

Kaoru closes her eyes as she heaves a sigh. "I'm sorry I never stopped him whenever he left... I know your anger grows each time you see me welcoming him with a smile and open arms. You must have felt pity for your poor mother, and for that I ask for forgiveness."

Kenji shakes his head vigorously. "Mother, you need not apologize to a son who ran away from reality! It is I who should beg forgiveness from you."

"I knew very well that I could not take her place in your father's heart", Kaoru started to Kenji's surprise, "That is why I did my best to love him, even when I knew it would be difficult. I believed, that someday, he would smile at me from the bottom of his heart. It would express pure joy... no trace of sadness nor remorse of the past. When you grow up and have a family of your own, you'll understand. I admit that most of the time, I act based on my emotions rather than logic. It got me and your father in trouble often. I'm sure you wont make the same mistakes we did."

(Kenji smiles briefly at the thought)

"I feel rather tired, may I rest on your lap for a while?"

"Y-yes... of course, mother." (Kenji moves farther for Kaoru to lie down)

"It was just like this. We were watching the sunset, and I held him in my arms just like what you're doing now. Sometimes I look to the sunset as if it signifies the end of my life... Kenji, let me tell you now that I regret nothing in loving your father the way I did. Even if it turned out he was in love with someone else beyond anyone's reach, I do not feel sad. Remember, 'it is better to love and be loved than to never have loved at all'. Your life's journey has only begun. Don't throw it away needlessly. Live as if your life would end the next day, so you won't feel like you wasted your time."

(Kaoru closes her eyes then sighs again)

"Promise me you'll stay strong, no matter what the future may bring upon you. Accept fate's path, but dare to venture if you feel there's a better way around. Whenever you feel lonely or confused, look at the cherry blossoms and think of us. We will always be with you..."

"Take care of your father's sword. It is his legacy, use it as he would have. I don't expect you to be just like him, or follow in his footsteps -- only that you give importance to life and use the sword for something good."

"I love you... Kenji. I will always love you, and your father. Always.... and forever." She struggles to smile once more, while tears stream from her eyes and stain Kenji's robes.

I'll always love you too, mother. Don't worry, I've forgiven father a long time ago. Kenji brushes off some hair from Kaoru's face.


A few hours later, Kaoru passes away. Kenji quietly shed tears, stricken with grief from years of silence. His mother looked happier than ever.

Megumi was secretly listening from inside one of the dojo's rooms. Tears welled up in her eyes from what she heard Kaoru say. Sanosuke and Yahiko came in with flowers and tangerines in hand. Upon seeing Megumi weeping, Sano feared the worst, and knew he was too late. Yahiko rushed in to see the body of his mentor lying peacefully on a shikibuton, Kenji by her side.

"Oh Kenshin, you're lucky to have Kaoru for a partner. I couldn't do the same things she did for you. Now I really know why you had eyes for only her." She cried in Sanosuke's arms.

From what I gather, this short dialogue was made based on events after Samurai X: Reflection where Kenshin died. :( Its a sad conclusion to a remarkable series, but nevertheless, I can't ask for a better ending. *sigh*

It would've sufficed if my RAMs didn't give me such a hard time. Don't ask, long story! =.=

Russel in a basketball uniform!?

Yes folks, no matter how you look at it, that's Russel in trunks, este.. a jersey. What I found most hilarious about this moment was Jay saying "Akalain mo yun, di na lang tayo sa mesa ng inuman nagkakasama!" or something like that. This is all true. ^^;

You should never believe Russ when he says he's changing for a healthier lifestyle, he came from a drinking session the night before and played the next day. Talk about hectic!

Side note: Russ, iba kang bumungisngis. *rolls on floor laughing*

I tried using my phone cam to take a picture of the game (sabi ni Boj, we must present proof that Russel actually played. lol) but the referee jumped in and made a weird gesture. Lastly, I found this last night while checking on who's viewed my Friendster page. I found out someone was using my pic without my permission. Hmm. Ambisyosang panggap! Now this is the real thing, Russel's just being weird and I find it amusing to tease him for that, but whoever made this profile should prepare to be suspended. I reported it right away. :p


It's not that I find this oppressive, but I would appreciate it if people would at least ask permission before they use my own photos. Or ask my photographer/PSer (Raven wahahahaha!), that would be enough. One last note, if you really want to use it and not tell me, at least do a better job of hiding it. Haha! ｡ﾟ+.(´▽`)｡+.ﾟ+･゜

I had this funny feeling that something was bound to happen this week (again), and there's no surprise in knowing I was right. Migraine attacked last Monday so I had to go to the clinic to rest. My teammates, Russel and Jay had to escort me to the 21st floor for that. So, kamusta ang production time? -_- What upset me more was the fact that I contributed to the infraction issued on Jay last Sunday. This, in turn, gave my boss (who had a migraine attack like me on the same day) a bad mood when she returned to the office. Life really sucked.

I also got 'the talk' from three people about my status at work: that would be Jay, my dad and my boss.

Last Sunday, he decided to wait for me after shift so we can go to iHooked together. I was finishing my reports for last week.

Jay: Matagal pa ba yan?
Me: Yeah, may 11 scrubs pa kong kailangang i-fill in. (11/15)
Jay: Tapos every week nyong ginagawa yan?
Me: *nods*
Jay: May dagdag ba sa sahod yan?
Me: ..wala. (please don't start..)
Jay: *looks back at Sferm, doing the same reports for our team* Dapat may dagdag man lang sa sahod nyo yan, sayang yung oras at pagod nyo.

He dozed off in the chair beside me, and later on the infraction was given. Hay! Guilt trip ang lola nyo! Just think, if he went on ahead to iHooked, he wouldn't have fallen asleep in the office. For two straight days I treated him to breakfast as an apology. He didn't ask to, but heck. Next time, I'll really have to do Deep Dive faster. T_T The next day, we were both sitting in the same seats as yesterday.

Jay: Akala ko ba tapos na yan?
Me: Sorry naman! Alam mo namang ansakit sa ulong mag-analyze nito eh. (QA note: mahirap pag-aralan ang pagkakamali ng iba!!)
Jay: *looks in and shifts the LCD monitor to face him* .......
Me: See?
Jay: ......
Me: Pramis talaga, I'll speed this up. Mauna ka na dun. I'll manage.
(later on, he gets called by someone he knows)
Jay: *stands up* labas lang kami.

Several minutes later, deep dive pa rin ang drama ko.

Jay: *upo ulit* ano?
Me: 3 na lang. Kakatapos ko lang nung kay Anadelle. *pouts* sakit sa ulo.
(biglang dating ni Erlyn.)
Erlyn: Oi Kris! Ba't andito pa kayo ni Jay?
Me: Hinihintay nya kong matapos yung Deep Dive ko. >.<
Erlyn: Waa, kayo na ni Jay?
Me: HA?
Erlyn: *laughs*

People in the department are crazy people, and Erlyn is one of them. I know, she came from Team JC. Takes one to know one. I mean, what's my report got to do with Jay? -_- The whole point of this is, the things I do more often than not get other people in trouble. Pain in the ass talaga. To make it worse, this happened on the same day that I recovered from my migraine. Ano baaaaa.

Second sermon: So I had my coaching session with boss yesterday, around past 2AM. It lasted until the end of shift, me in tears (as usual). Noo question about it -- everything she says about what I tell her, it's all truth. Tagos sa buto. Things have been difficult for me these past few months, what with pressure both at work and at home. My personal life is absolutely NOT making things any better. And this was the day after Mike called and told me the reason why he's not contacting me for 2+ weeks. Dude, you might as well have forgotten you had a girlfriend worried sick about you. As I said, if you're planning to go this path, you might as well tell me and let me go. You're not the only one suffering. I've been on the receiving end of the world's problems and I have no one to vent it out to. Thanks for helping. /sarcasm

If my boss reads this, I guess this is another reason why you heard me confess the way I did. Kita mo naman reaksyon ko; kalahating oras akong nagkulong sa cubicle ng CR. Pathetic with a capital P. I haven't cried like that since Mike and I last fought. Wooh.

So I was with my dad earlier on and he asked me about my problems at the workplace.

Dad: Alin ang mas madali, yung agent ka lang o yung nadagdagan ka ng QA reports?
Me: Agent lang.
Dad: E di tanungin mo kung pwedeng bitawan. Tutal wala naman palang dagdag sa sahod.
Me: .... *walks on*
Dad: Diba para kang dumampot ng bato tapos pinukol mo sa ulo?
Me: *laughs* parang ganun nga..
Dad: Kung may increase, sana you can say na binalot mo yung bato ng hundred-peso bills. At least it kind of softens the blow.
Me: Parang reward and punishment? At least you suffer for something but get rewarded for it..
Dad: *nods*

This was when I realized, he's right. It goes the same for other stuff you take upon yourself to do, and end up not doing because you lose interest or you lack the motivation to do so. He just has no idea how many times I've thought of doing worse.

But then again, as hypocritical people say, we have to make sacrifices. Whether they're for your own good or for others, you'll experience it at least once in a lifetime. Problem is, you don't know how long you have to keep doing it in order to actually see the results. Speaking of problems, reality check: they're a part of life. You dish it, you deal with it. It's like bubblegum stuck on your pants, it won't go away unless you do something about it.

I know I said I'll post more cell phone pics last week, but I just had to insert this update. Hehehe. No kidding, I finally have a dragon. XD

I gots a mean look, FEAR ME!!

Most gamers would recognize this: yup, he's the Dragon mobile from Gunbound. w00t~! This is the last piece of the plushie toys from the Gunbound franchise that was stored in the Mobius office. I did beg a certain SOMEONE (grr!) for a Mobius shirt saying "I Hug Noobs", but stoopid Marketing forgot to save me one. To think I've been such a loyal forum moderator for almost a year! Broken promises. Hmph.

Anyways my brother, Iccaro gave me this lil guy last Wednesday when we went out to watch WALL-E. Dude, I tell you I got injured that day, not once but twice. First I woke up stretching, and got cramps on my left leg. Next, my heels got scraped from the leather of my new pumps. Talk about tough luck. My brother had to nurse me back before hailing a farkin' cab to take me back to the office.

As I was about to type the first word, I felt my right foot cramp up. Blah!

Anyways, I've been to San Juan, Batangas for team building last weekend, so sorry for not telling in advance.
